Welcome to where I talk all about myself. Exciting, isn't it? At least there isn't much, yet. :-)

My internet and gaming moniker is Zimzat. While I would love to say there is an exciting story behind it, there isn't. It is simply something I came up with for my first person email address way back in the day on Juno. It was based off a combination of sounds from various words such as zip, zoom, zap, and the like. Since then I've been using it consistently across the internet and it has remained unique to me.

I started programming in Visual Basic when my brother introduced me to it back when I was twelve. I tinkered with various personal projects over a few years before picking up PHP. I started out by tweaking some phpBB installations and quickly moving on to creating new projects. I've learned a lot over the years; best practices, efficiency, even how some internals of the PHP engine work.
